Weekly Issue #9: August, let the games begin.

August is here, and it's shaping up to be a big one. New people, new cities, and steady progress under the hood. Here's everything moving this week.

We're growing.

Two very experienced people are joining the team, one in marketing and one on the dev side, both strong in their fields.

We'll introduce them properly once everything is confirmed on all sides, but we wanted you to hear it here first.

These two go hand in hand, so we're keeping them together. If you caught Wednesday's Video AMA, you'll know we were looking at another Colosseum hackathon round, the one called "Eternal" that runs between their two big spring and fall events.

We read the fine print carefully and decided to hold off. One of the rules is that submissions can't be actively fundraising, and since we're currently in conversations with several angels, VCs and investors, taking part would likely get us rejected. The raise comes first.

As we mentioned last time, August takes KRED across the map. Gaius represents us first at the Solana Summit in Uyo, Nigeria. Then we host our very first Web3 networking event in Heidelberg, Germany. After that, we head to the Solana Summit in Belgrade, Serbia.

And with these events comes a lot of content. We'll also be expanding beyond X, which is our main home right now, onto more platforms. We'll announce the when and where properly, but trust us: our marketing has only just gotten started.

The dev team is working daily on the scoring logic, refining how the weightings work and testing how each change affects the scores. The moment we ship something new, you'll be the first to know. There may already be something worth sharing at our next AMA.
